After signing with the Pirates for a $2,150,000 bonus, Siani spent the 2019 season playing for the GCL Pirates. He hit .241/.372/.308 in 39 games, with 26 walks, while going 5-for-5 in steals. He spent more time in center field, but he also got some playing time in left field, where he picked up three assists in 16 games.

This is a great action shot for Siani, showing him watch a ball in the air. He’s a left-handed hitter so I’m not 100% sure about what happened here, maybe a pop up bunt, or he’s in the middle of dropping the bat, don’t know.

The back is split up into three sections, looking at his resume, skills and the up close section, which is a brief bio. It notes that Siani was considered by Baseball America to be the best draft prospect in Pennsylvania in 2019. While they didn’t have complete high school stats available, they let you know that he put up a .457 average as a senior.

The skills section is a scouting report, detailing his hitting ability, which drove up his draft status. Also mentioned is his above average speed and steady defense. Siani is a toolsy player, who profiles as a high OBP guy, with some power, solid all-around defense and speed that helps him on offense and defense.

The bio section mentions his older (by 17 months) brother Michael, who is a similar type prospect for the Cincinnati Reds. It also notes that Siani passed on going to Duke, so that he could get his pro career started.
